What is pre-oxidized Pan felt / pre-oxidized Pan felt?

Pre-oxidized Pan fiber is obtained by high-temperature thermal stabilization treatment of polypropylene nitrile. It has high flame retardancy, the limiting oxygen index is greater than 40%, and has excellent thermal stability. The fiber does not melting,soften shrinkage,dripping during combustion, it is a quasi-non-combustible product, it has suitable textile processing performance, The fabric is light, soft, and has good water absorption. Denpend on raw material choosing, we also have pre-oxidized pan felt have good hyfrophobicity, It has good heat insulation effect, corrosion resistance, chemical environment resistance, and good radiation resistance.

The pre-oxidized Pan fiber insulation felt developed and produced by Shanghai Shenghe is a new type of heat insulation material made by using pre-oxidized Pan fiber as raw material and processed by needlepunch. It has the characteristics of good flexibility, low thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, and non-flammability, and is widely used in military defense, aerospace, automotive interiors, shipping, petrochemical, steel refining, photovoltaics, and energy storage.

Preox felt performance characteristics

We use pre-oxidized fiber make 100% pure preox felt and also we use preoxidized pan fiber mix with para aramid, meta aramid make preox and para aramid blended felt, pre-oxidized pan and meta aramid belended felt according to different applications required.
Pure pre-oxidized fiber felt and pre-oxidized fiber and para-aramid blended felt , the felt is is light, soft, and has good heat insulation effect.
Pre-oxidized fiber and para-aramid blended nonwoven is non-flammable, non-melting, non-heat-shrinkable, non-thermally cracked, and has no droplet. The heat-resistant and flame-retardant effect of pure pre-oxidized pan felt better than pure para-aramid felt. The felt made of pre-oxidized pan and para-aramid has excellent performance in antistatic, flame retardant, wear-resistant, acid and alkali resistance, and corrosion resistance.
Heat insulation and temperature resistance: excellent heat heat resistance performance, can be used for a long time at a relatively high temperature (≤350°C), is difficult to burn under an open flame, and will extinguish without flame.
Corrosion resistance: good chemical properties, resistant to various acid and alkali solvents, and can be used in harsh corrosive media.
Flame retardant and heat insulation: excellent heat insulation performance, low thermal conductivity, good heat insulation effect; it has high flame retardancy, oxygen index ≥ 40%.
Excellent thermal stability: no softening and shrinkage, no melting drops, it is a quasi-non-combustible product; good heat insulation effect, good corrosion resistance, chemical environment resistance, and radiation resistance.

Preox felt application

Pre-oxidized felt and pre-oxidized and aramid fiber blended felt can be made into the linning of flame-retardant and high-temperature resistant gloves. Pre-oxidized felt can be used for linning of special flame-retardant clothing, thermal protective clothing and firefighting clothing, steelmaking clothing, high-temperature work clothing and spark protection welding blanket, other outdoor products, and can also be used for industrial felts , Flame-retardant aviation products, high-speed train products, tunnel fire prevention, automobile hood insulation, fuel tank insulation, high-speed train products, camping tents and other heat-insulation and flame-retardant industries.
