Description

What is para aramid pulp? ( Kevlar Pulp, Taparan Pulp, Twaron pulp, 1414 Pulp)

Para-aramid pulp is obtained after surface fibrillation treatment of para-aramid fibers. Its unique surface structure greatly improves the grip of the mixture, so it is very suitable as a reinforcing fiber for friction and sealing products.
Para Aramid  pulp light yellow flocculent, fluffy, rich hairiness, high strength, good dimensional stability, no brittleness, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, toughness, small shrinkage, good wear resistance, It has a large surface area and can be well combined with other substances. It is a reinforcing material with a moisture regain of 8%, an average length of 2-2.5mm, and a surface area of 8m2/g. It is used as a gasket reinforcement material, has good resilience and sealing performance, and is harmless to human health and the environment. It can be used as a medium seal for water, oil, hydrocarbons, and medium-strength acids and alkalis. The resulting gasket has excellent sealing performance and creep relaxation resistance.

Usually only need to add less than 10% pulp, the strength of the product is equivalent to 50-60% asbestos fiber reinforced products. It is used to enhance friction and sealing materials and other manufactured products. It can be used as a substitute for asbestos in friction and sealing materials, high-performance heat-resistant insulating paper and reinforced composite materials.

People is often looking to deliver products with added strength, higher resistance to heat and chemicals, and consistent internal structures. Because of its unique chemical and mechanical properties, Twaron® pulp addresses many of these market demands. To help our customers find optimal solutions for their specific applications, we provide both wet and dry pulp in different fiber lengths and with varying degrees of fibrillation.

Para aramid ( Kevlar Pulp ,Taparan Pulp, Twaron pulp) can help manufacturers to deliver superior strength, stability and resistance to heat and corrosive chemicals. It is easily integrated into production processes, as its fibrillated nature limits separation and aids the dispersal of other ingredients, delivering extra reinforcement and efficiency where it is needed. We have the broadest aramid pulp portfolio on the market, and offer solutions for numerous applications, including friction products, sealing materials, and specialty paper products.
