Description

What's carbon fiber powder (milled carbon fiber )?

We have both Polyacrylonitrile base carbon fiber powder and asphalt-based carbon fiber powder Polyacrylonitrile base Carbon fiber powder (milled carbon fiber) is a long cylindrical particles obtained by high strength and high modulus carbon fiber filament through special technical surface treatment, grinding, micro -screening, screening, and high temperature drying. It retains many of the excellent properties of carbon fiber, has a small shape, a pure surface, a large specific surface area, and is easy to be wetted by resin. It has been widely used in conductive additives for the positive and negative electrode materials of nickel-metal hydride and nickel-copper batteries, electronic chips, conductive plates, conductive floors, electronic machinery, anti-static industries (coatings, floors, paints, inks), anti-static filters, national defense industry, building insulation, chemical food coarse-efficiency filtration, motorcycle mufflers, paint drying room air filtration, polytetrafluoroethylene and other fields.

Asphalt -based carbon fiber powder is a high -thermal carbon fiber material developed for thermal design. The thermal conductivity of this carbon fiber in the direction of the fiber can exceed steel, up to 700W/mk, and has good mechanical performance, conductive performance, excellent thermal conductivity and radiation thermal ability. The fibrous high thermal conductivity carbon powder made from this carbon fiber itself is fibrous and thermal conductive orientation can be designed, which is the biggest difference and advantage from previous toner and other thermal conductive materials. It can be used to fill polymer composite materials and develop heat dissipation materials for electronic appliances to solve the heat dissipation problems of high-density integrated electronic components, leds, etc.

Applications: electronic device radiators, thermal conductive silica gel, thermal conductive silicone grease, LED thermal conductivity, heat dissipation materials, high-power signal transmitters, aerospace aircraft tip thermal conductivity, etc. Carbon fiber powder can be made into 50 mesh, 80 mesh, 100 mesh, 120 mesh, 150 mesh, 200 mesh, 300 mesh, 325 mesh, 400 mesh, 500 mesh, 600 mesh, 700 mesh, 800 mesh, 900 mesh, 1000 mesh, etc. according to customer requirements.

  Carbon fiber powder of application

Carbon powder is stable, electrical conductive, self-lubricating reinforcing. Because of that It can composite with resin, plastic, metal, rubber and so on. So It can reinforce the strength and wear resistance of the materials. Carbon fiber powder are based on the polyacrylonitrile fiber as the raw material. Currently it is widely used in all kinds of thermo setting and thermoplastic resin reinforced material, such as filling PTFE(around 15%), reinforced nylon, enhanced PP ABS, enhanced reinforced epoxy, phenolic, rubber, glass, polyamide (PA), polyformaldehyde(POM) and polysulfone (PSF), polyphenyene oxide (PPO), poly methyl methacrylate (PMMA), etc, it can be also composited with matrix such as metal, ceramic to increase the strength and wear resistance of the products. Add 5%~ 25% of carbon fiber powder into the resin can obviously improve the physical and chemical properties of the products, such as hardness, crack resistance and wear resistance property etc , it can also improve the dimension stability of the resinoid bond toreduce the cost of the products .
