Description

What are para-aramid flame retardant cut-resistant gloves?

Para-aramid flame-retardant and cut-proof gloves are para-aramid yarn woven fire-resistant gloves spun from para-aramid fiber. Para-aramid fiber is a high-performance fiber material. The full name of para-aramid is " Poly(p-phenylene terephthalamide)" (PPTA) fiber is synthesized from terephthaloyl chloride and p-phenylenediamine Organic polymer fiber, because the amide bond is connected at the 1st and 4th positions of the two benzene rings, it is also called aramid 1414, TAPARAN, KEVLAR , TWARON and It has excellent properties such as high strength, high modulus, high temperature resistance and flame retardancy. It is also known as the world's top three along with carbon fiber and high strength and high modulus polyethylene. High-performance fiber, the main outstanding advantages of para-aramid are high strength and high modulus. Its tensile strength is 6 times that of steel wire, and its tensile modulus is 2 to 3 times that of steel wire and glass fiber. It is resistant to high temperatures, at 560 ℃, it will not decompose or melt. It is acid and alkali resistant,  its density (1.44g/cm2) is only one-fifth of that of steel wire. It has good flame retardancy, with a limiting oxygen index of more than 29, and is a A-level flame-retardant material. Mainly used in safety protection, bulletproof, cut-proof, rubber product reinforcement, high-strength cables and asbestos friction materials.

Para-aramid gloves characteristic

  1. Excellent flame retardancy, the limiting oxygen index of the outer layer of the glove is ≥29, higher heat protection, high strength, anti cut , cut resistant.
  2. It has excellent thermal stability. The gloves will not melt, soften, shrink, or drip during burning. They are quasi-non-combustible products.
  3. Good heat insulation effect, acid and alkali resistance , corrosion resistance, chemical environment resistance.
  4. Soft to the touch, good breathability, wear resistance, Friction resistant, abrasion resistant. Flexible to wear
  5. It will not age or shrink under long-term operation at a high temperature of 220 degrees, and the maximum short-term high temperature resistance can reach 450 degrees Celsius.
  6. Easy to clean, hand washable or machine washable.

Para-aramid gloves application

  1. Industrial industry: aramid fire-resistant gloves are used in electric welding, steel plants, aluminum plants, ceramics plants, and areas exposed to high temperature operations, such as metal processing.
  2. Glass industry and plastic processing industry: industrial oven, industrial tunnel oven, industrial welding, metal smelting, metal extrusion, metal casting, glass thermal processing, metal slitting, solar.
  3. Cell production and other high-temperature operating environments, It can well protect the safety of workers from burns, cuts, and stab wounds.
  4. Living areas: used in barbecue, kitchen, bakery, baking, cooking and microwave heating, anit cut gloves, fireproof gloves, firefighter glvoes, abrasion resistant gloves, heat-resistant gloves.
  5. Cooking gloves, oven gloves, barbecue gloves, grill Gloves, welding gloves.
