What is carbon plain fabric?

Carbon plain cloth is a kind of fabric made of interwoven carbon filament(carbon roving ,carbon tow ), the texture is plain (also called plain weave). Plain weave is one of the most common weaveing methord and makes the fabric stronger and more durable. Carbon fiber woven fabric is weaved by 1K, 3K, 6K, 12K, 24K carbon filament. The models of carbon fiber include T300, T700, T800, M30, M35, M40, T1000, high strength type, high strength medium mold, high strength high mold, the carbon fiber filaments we use include many well-known domestic brands and well-known imported brands, such as: Janpan's Toray and TEIJIN , Mitsubishi Chemical, The United States'Hexcel and ZOLTEK, South Korea's HYOSUNG,Turkey's AKSACA, Belgium's CYTEC SOLVAY GROUP, Germany's SGL. Weaving patterns include plain weave, twill weave, and satin weave, Jacquard. Its applications mainly include aerospace, automotive parts, sports equipment, building reinforcements, and decoration.

Characteristics of carbon plain fabric

Double faced, abrasion-resistant, breathable, chemical-resistant, heat-insulation, moisture-absorbent, radiation-resistant, stain resistant, wrinkle resistant, light weight, flexible and easy to operate, smooth surface and uniform force distribution, corrosion resistance, wear resistance and impact resistance.
  2. High-performance carbon plain fabric has excellent properties such as light weight, high strength, high modulus, conductivity, high temperature resistance, fatigue resistance, erosion resistance, low expansion coefficient, good designability and compoundability.
  3. High strength (5 times that of steel)
  4. Excellent heat resistance (can withstand high temperatures above 2000°C)

Applications of carbon plain fabric
