Carbon Fiber Fabric Layer adds strength and stiffness while keeping weight low.Fiberglass Fabric Layer Provides additional reinforcement.TPU Film Layer Forms the outer surface of the laminate. Film thickness can be selected based on the required flexibility, surface feel and application.

Our TPU laminated carbon fiber fabric can be supplied according to your required construction. TPU is our main film option. PVC, PVF, PVDF and PTFE films are also available for projects requiring different surface properties.

How to Choose the Right TPU Laminated Fabric

1. What Will the Material Be Used For?

Tell us whether the part needs to bend, hold its shape, resist surface wear or bond to another material. This helps narrow down the fabric and film construction.

2. What Finished Weight and Thickness Do You Need?

The weight of TPU laminated carbon fiber fabric includes the fabric layers, film and bonding materials. For bonding or forming operations, share the process temperature, pressure and any adhesive system being used. This helps determine whether a proposed material is worth sampling.

3. Is TPU the Right Film?

TPU is the main film option, but it is not the right choice for every operating environment. If your product will be exposed to chemicals, outdoor weathering or temperatures outside the intended TPU grade s range, tell us before ordering. We can review other available film options.

FAQ-Carbon Fiber Fiberglass TPU Laminated Fabric

What is the difference between TPU coated fabric and TPU laminated fabric?

TPU coated fabric has a TPU coating applied to a substrate, while TPU laminated fabric uses a pre-formed TPU film bonded to the fabric. The finished properties depend on the materials and processing method.

Can I choose PVC, PVF, PVDF or PTFE instead of TPU?

Yes. These materials are listed under our Available Film Options. We need to review the requested film, fabric construction and intended use before confirming the final specification.

Is TPU laminated carbon fiber fabric waterproof?

TPU film can provide a water-resistant barrier, but the waterproof performance of the complete laminate depends on film continuity, bonding, edges, seams and testing conditions. If you need a particular waterproof rating, please provide the test standard.

Can the material be made with different carbon fiber and fiberglass specifications?

Different fabric constructions can be reviewed according to your requirements. Send us the carbon fiber and fiberglass specifications, or a sample of the material you currently use.

Can TPU film be applied to both sides?

Double-sided film lamination can be reviewed. Whether a particular construction is available depends on the film, bonding method and production requirements.

Can I order a sample before placing a bulk order?
